    Suele afirmarse que el proceso civil de Inglaterra y Gales y los procesos de la Europa continental, son absolutamente diferentes. En realidad, no es exactamente así, las diferencias externas son enormes, pero en esencia, la actividad desarrollada en ambos sigue una estructura y utilidad similares, más allá de otras similitudes realmente importantes que han solido pasar desapercibidas, y que permiten avizorar una futura confluencia de ambos sistemas, buscando ambos la eficiencia.

    It is often claimed that the civil process of England and Wales and the processes of continental Europe are quite different. In reality, this is not exactly the case, the external differences are enormous, but in essence, the activity developed in both follows a similar structure and utility, beyond other really important similarities that have tended to go unnoticed, and which allow us to foresee a future confluence of both systems, both seeking efficiency.
