The general objective of the research was to describe human talent as a driving force in the management of ethics in a sustainable university. According to the stated objectives, this study was carried out based on a descriptive study in line with the researchers' guidelines, as the data were taken directly from reality and described as they occurred. This study was approached under the quantitative paradigm, considering a documentary-bibliographic review, using peer-reviewed works, theses, and bibliographic references. It is concluded that, in order to carry out their educational work and turn their vision into action, universities must, among other things, implement better management of higher education funding, develop capacities, appropriate planning strategies, policy analysis, adopt a forward-looking perspective in management skills, and respond to needs from the defense and rational use of resources. It is also significant to institute values through sustainable and innovative processes that promote ethics, improve management methods, identify environmental requirements to deploy appropriate institutional mission plans, and assess the performance of goals, policies, and action strategies, driven by human talent
