    Este artículo tiene como objetivo abordar la complejidad del vocabulario relacionado con los colores. El interés en este tema surge porque la nomenclatura del color no es uniforme y varía según el contexto cultural y social, lo que refleja la diversidad lingüística en torno a esta realidad. El estudio se basa en una revisión bibliográfica sistemática, desarrollada con la metodología PRISMA, de la disponibilidad léxica y el área asociativa Los Colores. Así, a partir de un total de 41 publicaciones obtenidas de las bases de datos Dialnet, Scielo, Google Scholar y DispoLex, los resultados han revelado que los nombres de los colores pueden ser clasificados en distintas categorías léxicas, como adjetivos simples, sustantivos metonímicos o composiciones sintagmáticas. Por su parte, desde el punto de vista del arte y el diseño, resalta la importancia de disponer de un listado de las palabras más disponibles para nombrar el color y un lenguaje común entre la lingüística y las artes. Finalmente, se observó cómo las mujeres evocan más palabras y detalles sobre los colores que los varones y que el nivel socioeconómico parece influir en la evocación de más o menos palabras en torno a este tema.

    The aim of this article is to address the complexity of the vocabulary related to colors. The interest in this topic arises because the nomenclature of color is not uniform and varies according to the cultural and social context, reflecting the linguistic diversity around this reality. The study is based on a systematic bibliographic review, developed with the PRISMA methodology, of the lexical availability and the associative area Colors. Thus, from a total of 41 publications obtained from the databases Dialnet, Scielo, Google Scholar and DispoLex, the results have revealed that the names of colors can be classified into different lexical categories, such as simple adjectives, metonymic nouns or syntagmatic compositions. On the other hand, from the point of view of art and design, it highlights the importance of having a list of the most available words to name color and a common language between linguistics and the arts. Finally, it was observed that women evoke more words and details about colors than men and that the socioeconomic level seems to influence the mention of more or less words about this topic.
