    En una nota a pie de página de Freud escribe: "El refrán de que en el juego se conoce el carácter de hombre puede aceptarse, añadiendo: el carácter reprimido". Y a continuación en texto normal apostilla: "No concibo por qué la sabiduría, que es, por decirlo así, el sedimento de las experiencias cotidianas, ha de ser negada su admisión entre las adquisiciones de la ciencia".

    Antes estas dos aseveraciones, véase claramente la contribución del juego a la ciencia del hombre y al vivir diario del propio hombre.

    In a foolnote Freud writes: "The saying tha in the game the man 's character is known can be accepted; adding: the repressed character". And then in a normal text he adds: " I don't understand why wisdom, which is in sorne way the sediment of daily experiences, is not admitted among the adquisition of science". With regard to these two affirmations, let us see clearly tbe contribution of the game to the science of the man and to the daily life of the man himself.
