Utilizando el Repertory Grid de Kelly, y partiendo de los constructos conformantes Vejez y Angustia, se analiza la génesis constructiva del sentimiento de Ansiedad en ancianos sanos, introduciéndose la variable sexo como elemento diferenciador de las muestras estudiadas.
Los ancianos muestran mayor tendencia a responder con Frustración frente a los cambios que en su entorno la edad propicia, siendo mas vulnerables a la Ansiedad,que aparece en ellos como señal. Por su parte las Ancianas, presentan mayor capacidad de adaptación y prevención respecto de la Ansiedad, manifestándose en ellas como ruido independiente de la etapa vital en la que se encuentran

By means of the Kelly Repertory Grid, and using as constituing constructs EIderly and Anxiety, we analyze the constructive génesis of the Anxiety feeling in a healthy oíd age population, introducing the variable sex as distinctive element of the studied samples.
The dominant trend in the eiderly men was answering with Frustration to the changes that ageing set up in their lives. They are more vulnerable to Anxiety, which appears in them as an alert sign. On the other hand, women showed higher adaptation and prevention capacity about Anxiety, which appears as a noise,independent of the age they're living.
