Investigación y práctica artística en el arte contemporáneo: la recreación de la realidad

    A la hora de tratar la investigación en la práctica del arte contemporáneo, se propone apreciarlo, no como una suma de «malas» o «buenas» obras, no en cuanto la relevancia o no de sus manifestaciones, sino como el conjunto de un síntoma, el de la sociedad que lo alumbra.

    En el análisis del fenómeno, se plantea la relación de la obra con el autor y la de la obra de arte con el receptor. El resultado es una macro presentación del presente. El arte sería una celebración del absurdo habitando y reinando en nuestra cultura. La práctica del arte tendría unas intenciones: arte de sumisión, de compromiso o de proyecto. Con la intención de proyecto se posibilitan nuevas realidades involucrándose de tal manera que de narrar se pasa a ser parte de la narración. De tal manera que aparecen una serie de transformaciones en la práctica artística, la relativización de la pintura y la escultura a meras técnicas, la superación de la obra y de la idea acerca de lo que es arte.

    When dealing with research in the practice of contemporary art, the proposal is made that it should be appreciated, not as a combination of «good» or «bad» work, and not in terms of whether or not the statements made are relevant or not, but as an indication as a whole, that of the society which illuminates it. In analysing the phenomenon, the relationship between the work and its author and that of piece of art and the audience is considered. The result is a macro-presentation of the present. Art would be a celebration of the absurd living and reigning in our culture. Practising art would have some intentions: submissive, compromising or planned art. The intention of planned art makes new realities possible thus involving them so that narrating becomes part of the narration. A series of transformations thus appear in artistic practice, relativization of painting and sculpture to mere techniques, improvement of the art work and of the concept of what art is
