En este artículo se intentan mostrar los aspectos pictóricos en la obra de Teodoro Ardemans. Este artista sólo ha sido estudiado como arquitecto, pero su primera formación, estuvo en los talleres de importantes pintores, como Antonio de Pereda y Claudio Coello. Sus pinturas y la presencia de éstas en sus trabajos, pueden contribuir al mejor conocimiento del ambiente artístico madrileño, en los años finales del siglo XVII y el primer tercio de la centuria siguiente.

In this article, I will try to show the pictorical aspects in the work of Teodoro Ardemans. This artist has been studied as an architect, but his first formation was in the workshops of importants painters like Antonio de Pereda and Claudio Coello. His paintings and the presence of these in his works, can to contribute to better knowledge of the artistic enviroment in Madrid, in the last year of the 17th century and the first third of 18th century.
