    El Hotel Reina Victoria en Madrid, construido por el arquitecto Jesús Carrasco-Muñoz Encina, es una interesante obra que combina elementos tradicionales y modernos. Por un lado, constituye un significativo ejemplo de eclecticismo arquitectónico a comienzos del siglo XX, pero por otro contiene importantes novedades (funcionales, técnicas y estilísticas). El estudio de su proyecto original, de su largo proceso constructivo y del edificio definitivo así lo demuestra.

    The Reina Victoria Hotel in Madrid, built by the architect Jesús Carrasco-Muñoz Encina, is an interesting work that combines traditional and modern elements. On the one hand, it represents a meaningful example of architectural eclecticism in the beginning of the 20th Century, but additionally contians some important novelties (functional, techinical and stylistic). The study of the original project, of the long constructive process and of the definitive building thus demonstrate it.
