• Five amphora stamps from ancient Arva are studied in this paper. One of them provides definitive proof of the involvement of the Egnatii, a family which we find epigraphically documented in the town, in the oil economy. Likewise the inscription which the freedman L. Egnatius dedicated to Mercurius in Orippo is here studied.
