Densities and viscosities for binary mixtures of six flavor esters (isoamyl acetate, ethyl caproate, ethyl benzoate, isoamyl butyrate, ethyl phenylacetate, and ethyl caprylate) with ethanol over the whole composition range were measured at four different temperatures (288.15, 298.15, 308.15, and 318.15) K and atmospheric pressure. Densities were determined using a vibrating-tube density meter. Viscosities were measured with an automatic Ubbelohde capillary viscometer. Excess molar volumes (V E) and deviations in the viscosity from mole fraction average (Δη) were derived from experimental data. The binary data of V E and Δη were correlated as a function of the mole fraction by using the Redlich−Kister equation.
