Resumen de Activos intangibles y desarrollo sostenibles en territorios insulares

El desarrollo sostenible resulta un objetivo a lograr para cualquier territorio, máxime si éste es una isla pequeña. Para lograr este fin de desarrollo y preservación de los recursos naturales, sería ideal basar buena parte de la economía insular en los activos intangibles, ya que éstos no se deprecian ni se desgastan con su utilización. En el presente trabajo se ha diseñado un modelo que permite identificar y medir los principales activos intangibles que contribuyen a que los territorios insulares pequeños consigan un desarrollo sostenible y se ha aplicado a Gran Canaria.

The sustainable development is one of the main objectives that any government would like to achieve, and it is still more in the case of the small islands. Therefore, in order to reach this aim, the development and protection of the natural resources, would be necessary to take advantage of the immaterial assets of the island, because they are not wasted or undervalued. In this research we have drawn a model to identify and measure the principal immaterial assets to contribute that the islands could achieve asustainable development.
