El presente es un estudio descriptivo y analítico de deícticos personales, sociales y discursivos en narrativas orales recolectadas en el barrio El Empedrao, importante enclave histórico y cultural en la ciudad de Maracaibo, Venezuela. Esta investigación se propone, bajo la perspectiva del análisis discursivo, explorar la función que estos tipos de deícticos desempeñan en estas narrativas. Se discutirá y ejemplificará cómo la capacidad mostrativa de estos deícticos añade un elemento redundante a la tendencia descriptiva de estos textos.
This is a descriptive and analytical study of personal, social and discursive deictics in oral narratives collected in the barrio El Empedrao, an important historic and cultural enclave in the city of Maracaibo, Venezuela. This essay will analyze (under the perspective of the discourse analysis) the function of these markers in the narratives. It will discuss and exemplify how the pointing capability of these markers will add a redundant characteristic to the descriptive tendency prevalent on these texts.
