Resumen de Unidades léxicas: representación definición en el desarrollo lingüístico

  Este artículo presenta resultados de un trabajo de investigación que vincula terminología y adquisición del lenguaje. Su objetivo es doble: por una parte, establecer el tipo de representación que sujetos en edad escolar (entre los 7 y los 15 años) tienen de unidades léxicas de distinto tipo ( sustantivo y perro) y, por otra, observar las correlaciones existentes entre el tipo de conceptualización y la formulación lingüística elegida para definir la unidad léxica. El primer análisis es cuantitativo, el segundo cualitativo. Para el análisis cuantitativo se utiliza el Test exacto de Fischer (p <=0,05). Los resultados permiten observar que, por una parte, los sujetos se diferencian en el tipo de representación que atribuyen a la unidad léxica sustantivo, pero no a la unidad léxica perro. Por otra parte, esto se evidencia en las formulaciones lingüísticas que utilizan para definir estas unidades léxicas, de manera que es posible establecer correlaciones entre conceptualización y formulación lingüística.

  This paper presents the results of a research work that relates terminology to language acquisition. It has a double objective: on one hand, to establish the kind of representation scholars between the age of 7 and 15 have of different kinds of lexical units ( sustantivo and perro); on the other hand, to study the existing relations between the type of conceptualisation and the linguistic formulation chosen to define the lexical unit. While the first analysis is quantitative, the second one is qualitative. For the quantitative analysis the exact Fischer Test is used (p <= 0,05). The results show that differences among scholars are found as to the kind of representation attributed to the lexical unit sustantivo, but that these differences are absent as regards the lexical unit perro. This is also evident in the linguistic formulations employed to define these lexical units, in a way that it is possible to establish correlations between conceptualisation and linguistic formulation.
