    Este artículo reflexiona sobre el accionar del turismo en el mundo atacameño actual y de qué manera, desde la perspectiva del turismo intercultural, la actividad turística puede desarrollarse sobre la base de un crecimiento económico, constante y sostenible y que sea capaz de satisfacer en igualdad de condiciones las necesidades y aspiraciones tanto de atacameños como de los turistas.

    This article deals with an analysis of tourism activities carried out in the Atacamenian area at present, and from the perspective of intercultural tourism, tourism projects may develop on the basis of constant and sustained economic growth, in order to equally satisfy the needs of the Atacamenian population as well as the expectations of tourists.
