Resumen de Plantas andaluzas de Pierre Edmond Boissier (1810-1885) en el herbario del Real Colegio Alfonso XII de San Lorenzo de El Escorial (Madrid, España)

  Presentamos una pequeña colección de 15 plantas con gran interés histórico que se encuentran en el herbario del Real Colegio Alfonso XII de San Lorenzo de El Escorial. Todas ellas proceden de las herborizaciones de E. Boissier durante su primer viaje al sur de España en 1837 y se encontraban entre los fondos del herbario de Eduardo Carreño. La importancia histórica de estas plantas se evidencia por haber sido utilizadas por Willkomm y Lange como referencia para establecer la distribución de las especies en su Prodromus florae hispanicae. Además, en su mayor parte, son materiales originales que se citan en la clásica obra de Boissier Voyage botanique... (Ver más) dans le midí de l¿Espagne pendant l¿année 1837. Entre ellas ha aparecido material tipo de Linaria origanifolia DC. var. glareosa Boiss. y de Festuca elegans Boiss.

  We present a brief description of a little but interesting set of plants deposited in the herbarium of the Real Colegio Alfonso XII of San Lorenzo de El Escorial. The total number of specimens are fifteen, all of them belong to the scientific activity of E. Boissier during his first travel in the south of Spain in 1837. These plants were in the Carreño¿s herbarium. The historical importance of these sheets is enhanced by when they were used for Willkomm & Lange (1861-1880) as reference in order to establish the species corology in the classic Prodromus florae hispanicae, as clearly stated in that work.
