Com a recente descoberta da primeira tabella defixionis em território português (Alcácer do Sal), aproveita-se para rever algumas das características principais destes artefactos, utilizando como exemplo algumas inscrições identificadas na Península Ibérica.

With the recent discovery of the first tabella defixionis in Portuguese territory (Alcácer do Sal) I undertake the opportunity to review some of the main characteristics and aims of these artifacts, using as example some inscriptions from the Iberian Peninsula.
