    • About Rights and Fictions [FERRAN SÁEZ MATEU] This article deals with the debate between individual and collective rights through the criticism of an article written by Fernando Savater (El País, 4-10-98). The author thinks about the rights that coordinate our cohabitation into the post-industrial societies and points to the validity or exhaustion of the Enlightenment project as the real origin of the presented clash between the individual and the collective rights. Given the precariousness of any fundation of rights in this end of century, there is only one way of thinking about the basis of the rules of our political game without being irrational; that is to assume simultaneously the Enlightenment idea of secularisation ¿which allows to play down the origin of some imposing concepts¿ and the post-Enlightenment idea consisting in reading the myth once again in order to make a new critical location completely aware of the myth itself in the name of pragmatism.
