El libro de Ibn al-Gazari (1350-1429)'Uddatu l-??i??ni l-??a??ini, escrito en Siria a finales del siglo XIV, se difundió entre los musulmanes de la Península Ibérica, entonces mudéjares, bajo autoridad cristiana, y granadinos, en el Emirato nazarí. Fue traducido en Aragón al romance aljamiado, probablemente en la primera mitad del siglo XV, como lo muestran ciertos datos históricos y lingüísticos que se extraen de la traducción conservada en el manuscrito misceláneo J-LII, de la Biblioteca de la Junta (CSIC - Madrid). En el presente artículo, se exponen las particularidades del original árabe y las de la traducción, con el apoyo de la transcripción y edición del manuscrito -Anexo I- y del consiguiente glosario - Anexo II-.

The book of Ibn al-Gazari (1350-1429), 'Uddatu l-??i??ni l-??a??ini, written in Siria by the end of the XIV century, got to be known by the Iberian Peninsula's muslims who lived then as mudejar under Christian authorities and in the Emirate of Granada. It was translated to aljamiado romance in Aragon, probably during the first half of the XV century, as can be learnt from historical and linguistic data found in the manuscript J-LII, part of the aljamiado collection of the Biblioteca de la Junta (CSIC - Madrid). In the present paper, particularities of the Arabic original and of the Aljamiado translation are studied, based on the transcription and edition of the manuscript - Anexe I- and on a glossary - Anexe II-.
