The lands of Guadix constitute one of the most differentiated subregions in the Intrabaetic depression. The study of the variations in the geographic landscape of one of its municipalities, Darro, all give an example of the present situation of a district having a depressed agricultural economy which has been influenced by a series of change factors during recent decades such as: The modernization of their cereal producing techniques, restructurization of land plots or the brusk development of emigration. For this reason the study of the origen, reach and consequences of these structural transformations will always render a quantity of transferable teachings which are, is fact, its objective, and in a certain way, the reason for realizing the study.

Dans le sillon Intrabétique, Guadix est une des subrégions d'une plus grande personnalité. L'étude des variations subies par un des villages, ¿Darro¿ est un exemple des problèmes que présente actuellement une région à economie agricole déprimée. Une série de nouveaux faits sont la cause d'un gran changement dans les derniéres années: nouvelle structuration par l'état de la petite propriété, modernisation des techiniques agricoles de la culture de céreales, et le brusque développement de l'émigration. L'étude de ces transformations, qui jusqu`à un certain point peuvent se transposer à toute la région, sont la raison de cette étude.
