En este artículo se trata la lucha diplomática del villismo en 1915 por obtener el reconocimiento norteamericano en el momento en que esta facción entra en un periodo de decadencia militar, moral y económica. Se analizan los planes que manejan y Ias tácticas que usan frente a los procedimientos norteamericanos. Se demuestra que en estos momentos críticos se empiezan a distanciar entre sí y entran en conflicto con Pancho Villa sus colaboradores cercanos; hay traiciones, deserciones, etcétera. Probablemente estos fenómenos son frecuentes en todas Ias facciones en los momentos en que entran en un periodo de decadencia.

This article examines the diplomatic fight of the villista faction to obtain the acknowledgment of the American government in 1915, in a period that this faction was declining, politically, military, and economically. The author studies the plans and tactics that the representatives of the villista faction used in contrast with the ones of the American government. In these critical moments Pancho Villa had conflicts with the most important men of his faction and they had problems among themselves; there were treasons, bewilderment, etcetera. Probably this happens regularly when a faction starts to decline.
