  FRANÇOIS GUlCHARD y PORTUGAL. François Guichard murió de accidente en marzo de 2002 a los 56 años. Geógrafo, investigador del CNRS, se dedicó enteramente a comprender y dar a conocer a Portugal. La trayectoria presentada aquí pretende en particular mostrar cómo F. Guichard construyó su objeto de investigación, y también cuál fue el papel de dicho tema en su vida: no se pueden disociar el hombre y su obra.

  FRANCOIS GUlCHARD AND PORTUGAL. François Guichard died accidentally in March 2002, aged 56. A Geographer, searcher at the CNRS, he devoted all his work to understand Portugal and make it be known. The course here is chiefly interested in showing the way F. G built up the object of his search but also the weight of this object in the mans life : the man and his work can be dissociated.

  F. Guichard est décédé de façon accidentelle en mars 2002 a l'âge de 56 ans. Géographe, chercheur au CNRS, il a consacré l'ensemble de son travail a comprendre et faire connaître le Portugal. Le parcours, ici présenté, s'intéresse particulièrement a montrer la manière qu'a eu F. Guichard de construire son objet de recherche mais également le poids de cet objet de recherche dans la vie de l'homme: l'oeuvre et l'homme ne peuvent étre séparés.

  François Guichard tinha 56 anos quando faleceu acidentalmente em Março de 2002. Geógrafo investigador no CNRS, o seu trabalho consistiu em compreender e dar a conhecer Portugal. Pretende-se aqui focar a forma como François Guichard constitui o seu objecto de pesquisa e evidenciar o lugar que este teve na sua vida: a obra e o homem estao aqui intimamente ligados.
