  • This article goes under the ample title of Literature of the ethnic minorities in the U.SA, but the author sticks to the works written by the descendants (called The Third Generation) of the first Immigrants. He underlines that one peculiarity of this kind of Literature is the conflict or clash between American culture and WASP Society. The author warns that this feature has to be kept in mind when you want to study one of these novels.
