This paper studies the errors that Spanish students of English as a Foreign Language make in the use of determiners. These errors are not considered from the point of view of their type or explanation, but contemplated in the light of a different perspective: which students make what kind and how many errors? The information obtained this way will be of interest for both the linguist concerned with the process of Foreign Language Acquisition and the teacher interested in a balanced planning of his/her lessons.
