Resumen de El turismo en España según la Encuesta de Ocupación en Alojamiento de Turismo Rural(EOTR)

El turismo rural se está consolidando en España como una oferta complementariaal tradicional turismo de "sol y playa". Se trata de un producto característico, distinto, que ha logrado un puesto importante dentro de la diversificación de la oferta turística española, presentando continuos incrementos desde la perspectiva de la oferta en cuanto al número de plazas y establecimientos, pero tambien contando con un mayor interés por parte de la demanda.
En el año 2001 aparecen, por primera vez, motivados por el auge experimentado por el turismo rural, los primeros resultados relativos a la oferta y demanda de los alojamientos rurales en España, que son analizados en este artículo, a través de la encuesta de ocupación en alojamientos de turismo rural (EOTR), elaborada por el instituto nacional de estadística.

The rural tourism is consolidating in Spain like a complementary supply to the traditional tourism of "sol and beach". One is a characteristic, different product, that has obtained an important position within the diversification of the Spanich tourist supply, displaying continous increases from the perspective of the supply as far as number of seats and establishments, but also telling with a greater interest on the part of the demand.
In year 2001 they appear, for the first time, motivated by the height experienced by the rural tourism, the first results relative to the supply and demand of the rural lodgings in Spain, that are analyzed in this article, through the survey of occupation in Lodgings of Turismo rural (EOTR), elaborated by the National institute of statistic.
