Resumen de Pedrolo i els Cants de Maldoror

The work of Lautréamont has known in Castilian numerous translations: from the twenties until the present, poets, university teachers or professional translators have given several versions now of the Singing of Lautréamont, now of the Poetry. The same does not happen regarding the Catalan area. In spite of the names of Dalí, Foix or Palau i Fabre, the universe of Ducasse just turns up in Catalan in a very shy and fragmentary way. It is necessary to greet, then, the translation from Manuel de Pedrolo in 1978. It can surprise that a narrator, essentially, can face the text of Lautréamont, but we will see how the reference to Lautréamont turns up in any works of Pedrolo and, in any case, we will discover how the ducassian aesthetics is present in his work.

L¿obra de Lautréamont ha conegut en castellà nombrosos traduccions: des dels anys vint fins a l¿actualitat, poetes, professors universitaris o traductors professionals han donat diverses versions ara dels Cants de Lautréamont, ara de les Poesies. No passa el mateix pel que fa a l¿àmbit català.
Tot i els noms de Dalí, Foix o Palau i Fabre, l¿univers de Ducasse tan sols apareix en català de forma molt tímida i fragmentària. Cal saludar, doncs, la traducció de Manuel de Pedrolo de 1978.
D¿entrada pot sobtar que un narrador, essencialment, pugui afrontar el text de Lautréamont, però veurem com la referència a Lautréamont apareix en algunes obres de Pedrolo i, en tot cas, descobrirem com l¿estètica ducassiana és present en la seva obra.
