Resumen de Estudio de la prevalencia de la incontinencia urinaria y sus factores de riesgo en nuestro medio

R. Rodríguez-Núñez, Esther Alvarez Silvares, Luis Salas Campos, A. González

  • We performed a prospective descriptive study of a random sample of patiens attending our gynecology clinic. The patiens we asked to complete a questionnaire to determine the prevalence of urinary incontinence (UI), the prevalence of the different kinds of UI, the possible etiological factors (age, parity delivery route, pelvic surgery, etc.), as well as the repercussion of UI on women's quality of life.
