    En este artículo se examinan algunos problemas relacionados con la noción de emergencia cuando se trata de explicar con ella la mente. Se muestran también algunas paradojas de dicha noción y se propone un cierto retorno al aristotelismo para afrontar esos problemas. Se menciona la dificultad de establecer los límites entre filosofía y ciencia, así como la conexión de este problema con los relativos a la emergencia.

    In this paper I examine some problems connected with the notion of emergence, when it is used to explain the mind. I also show some paradoxes of this notion and propos a certain kind of return to the philosophy of Aristotle, in order to face these problems. I mention the difficulty of to set the limits between philosophy and science, and the connection of this problem with those related to emergence.
