    El texto, fundamentado en entrevistas, aborda el tema de las migraciones de centroamericanos hacia los Estados Unidos. A través de testimonios de personas que han recorrido difíciles caminos como el desierto, la selva y el río, y han utilizado crueles medios de trasporte como el tren del que son empujados hasta perder pedazos de sus cuerpos, los autores se centran en un análisis de la identidad cambiante del "nómada", que va y viene sin un lugar fijo al cual llegar o del cual partir.

    Based on interviews, the present text approaches the issue of Central American migrations towards the United States. By means of testimonies of people who have walked across the desert, the jungle, and the river, and who have used cruel means of transport-such as the train from which they are pulled-off until they lose parts of their bodies-, the authors analyze the changing identity of "nomads", who come and go with no stable starting point or destination.
