Resumen de Anotaciones para una agenda de investigación sobre las relaciones tecnocientíficas Sur-Norte

  En este artículo exploramos algunos temas que consideramos de potencial interés para investigar los problemas de la cooperación tecnocientífica entre el Norte y el Sur desde la perspectiva de los estudios sociales de la ciencia y la tecnología. Para ello presentamos un somero repaso del estado del arte en los temas que discutimos, a saber: ciencia, tecnología y teorías del desarrollo; las Revoluciones Verdes y tecnociencia y Guerra Fría en el Sur. Nuestro argumento central es que la comprensión de la dinámica de los intercambios tecnocientíficos entre el Tercer Mundo y los países industrializados es esencial para continuar desarrollando los estudios sociales de la ciencia y entender el papel de la tecnociencia no solo en el Sur sino también en el Norte.

  In this paper we investigate a few examples of potential interest to those concerned with problems regarding the technoscientific scientific exchange between North and South from the social studies of science and technology perspective. We present a review of the state of the art of those subjects we discuss, namely: science, technology and development theories; the Green Revolutions; and technoscience and Cold War in the South. We argue that, in order to understand the role of technoscience, both in the South and the North, it is essential to study the dynamics of the technoscientific exchanges between the Third World and the industrialized countries.
