    La historia de la responsabilidad civil por los daños causados por animales es lo que el autor reconstruye en el artículo que se presenta, desde la Ley de las XII Tablas, pasando por las modificaciones introducidas por el derecho romano clásico, por el justinianeo y al influjo de nuevas concepciones filosófico-jurídicas y, ulteriormente, por las debidas al derecho medieval castellano, representado por el Fuero Juzgo y las Partidas, hasta el artículo 1905 del Código civil español y la interpretación que de él ha hecho el Tribunal Constitucional español.

    The author reconstructs the history of civil responsibility for damages caused by animals, from the Lex Duodecim Tabularum, through the amendments introduced by classical Roman and Justinean law, the influx of the new legal-philosophical conceptions and anon by those ensuing from Spanish medieval law, embodied by the Fuero Juzgo and the Partidas, on to article 1905 of the Spanish Civil Code and the interpretation given to it by the Spanish Constitutional Court

    L'histoire de la responsabilité civile par les dommages causés par des animaux c'est ça que l'auteur reconstruit dans l'article qui est présenté, depuis la Lex Duodecim Tabularum, en passant par les modifications introduites par le droit romain classique, par le droit de Justinien et l'influence de nouvelles conceptions philosophique - juridiques et, ultérieurement, par celles dues au droit médiéval castillan, représenté par le Fuero Juzgo et les Partidas, jusqu'à l'article 1905 du Code Civil espagnol et l'interprétation qui a fait le Tribunal Constitutionnel espagnol sur ce dernier.
