Resumen de Research note: Adjusted Gini coefficient and `months equivalent' degree of tourism seasonality
The Gini coefficient is shown to be a suitable summary measure for tourism seasonality. It is a well-behaved index, takes values in a linear fashion and, when adjusted to a reference uniform distribution, it produces a �months equivalent� degree of seasonality.
