    Este artículo parte del intento de redefinir la función del intelectual en la época de la globalización, donde afronta el problema de la emigración y la extranjería. En ese contexto confronta la ética de la alteridad con el individualismo posesivo, y la de la universalidad monocultural con la de la globalidad multicultural.

    This article starts from the aim to redefine the function of the intelectual in the time of globalization, where he deals with the problems of the migration and strangeness. In this context, the article makes a confrontation between, on the one hand, the ethics of alterity and the possesive invidualism, and, on the other hand, between the ethics of monocultural universality and the ethics of the global multiculturalism.
