"The Door of the Bishop" of the Cathedral of Zamora is, from the point 01 view of art, the syncretism of classical and oriental models. Both were borrowed by the Islamic art in the Middle East, in Northern Africa and in Al-Andalus.
The "Door" has similarly assimilated the late 12th. century Romanesque aesthetics, setting off the geometrical and structural designs.
