  Se presenta a la comunidad en general el Índice Biológico BMWP acondicionado a las características ecológicas y a la dinámica poblacional del cauce principal del río Pamplonita desde su nacimiento hasta su desembocadura; esto como resultado de los diferentes estudios realizados por el Grupo de Investigaciones Ambientales GUIA - UFPS. El ajuste del puntaje se basó en el análisis comparativo de las características de las morfofamilias capturadas y su frecuencia de aparición con las condiciones fisicoquímicas determinadas en cada una de las estaciones de muestreo establecidas en los estudios realizados en el río.

  It is presented to the community in general the Biological Index BMWP conditioned to the ecological characteristics and the populational dynamics of the main bed of the river Pamplonita from their birth until their outlet; this as a result of the different studies carried out by the Group of Investigations Environmental GUIA - UFPS.

  The adjustment of the punctuation was based on the comparative analysis of the characteristics of the captured families and its appearance frequency with the Physical conditions, Chemistry and bacteriological determined in each one of the established sampling stations in the studies carried out in the river.
