Siriporn McDowall, Li-Chun Lin

  • The purpose of the study was to identify students' attitudes toward two teaching methods (traditional versus distance learning), to compare the relationship between students' attitudes and their demographic characteristics, and to provide feedback to instructors who teach via technological means. The results revealed that the majority of the respondents were female (61%), less than 23 years of age (86%), in their junior or senior years (69%), and with a Grade Point Average of C or above (76%). Out of 74 respondents in the study, 52 students received the traditional teaching method while 22 received the distance learning method.
