Los transportes ferroviario y marítimo en Andalucía

    Se analizan los tráficos ferroviarios y marítimos de mercancías en Andalucía en el año 1995 detectándose la muy escasa relación entre ambos modos. Por la importancia de la agricultura en el territorio andaluz, se incide especialmente en el estudio de los tráficos de productos agroalimentarios, en dicho año y en el siguiente, estableciéndose la relación de los mismos con su producción analizada. Se ponen de manifiesto desigualdades internas y carencias del sistema marítimo-ferroviario andaluz, la necesidad de mayor conectividad de este último con Levante y la mejora de su relación intermodal en los puertos de Andalucía.

    Maritime freight traffic and merchandise transport by rail in 1995 in Andalusia are analysed, and here is found a slight relationship between these two transport modes. Due to the importance of agriculture in Andalusia, the traffic of the agricultural products are specially studied, in that year and in the next, and the relationship is established between this traffic and the analysed agricultural production. Internal differences and the lack of the Andalusian maritime and rail transport systems is shown, and the need of a better connection of those systems and the other Mediterranean coastal regions, and the improvement of its intermodal relation in the commercial ports of Andalusia.
