    A company’s organigram presents an organisation’s personnel in a hierarchical order that is not necessarily the only representation that the later have of their respective places within the institution. In an air traffic control centre, the organigram is in competition with the hierarchy that the personnel themselves create, by function of the more or less direct relationship they have with the circulation of aeroplanes and, concomitantly, to their role in reducing risk to the pilot. The controllers in the hall who are in direct contact with air traffic, are placed at the summit of this tacit hierarchy. The status that this proximity affords has repercussions throughout the hierarchy, ordering services, in the eyes of the personnel themselves. This tacit reconfiguration of all the centre’s services is possible due to the consensus around the valorisation of air transport and of security that unites all the employees (and beyond).

    L’organigramme d’une entreprise présente une organisation hiérarchisée des personnels qui n’est pas forcément la seule représentation que ces derniers ont de leurs places respectives au sein de l’institution. Dans un centre de contrôle de la navigation aérienne, l’organigramme des personnels est concurrencé par leur hiérarchisation en fonction du rapport plus ou moins direct qu’ils ont à la circulation des avions et, par-delà, au risque et au pilote d’avion. Les contrôleurs en salle, en prise directe avec la circulation aérienne, sont placés au sommet de cette hiérarchie tacite. La grandeur que cette proximité procure se répercute en cascade, ordonnant les services, aux yeux mêmes des personnels. Ce redéploiement non exprimé de l’ensemble des services du centre est possible en raison du consensus qui rassemble tous les employés (et au-delà) autour de la valorisation du transport aérien et de la sécurité.
