Resumen de Estudio del léxico bíblico del "Poema de Fernán González"
The following pages are devoted to a study of the biblical lexicon in the "Poema de Fernán González". By biblical lexicon we mean here those Castillian terms which correspond directly with terms found in the Latin Bible. For a word to be biblical in a strict sense it must either appear for the first time in the Latin Bible or have in the Bible a meaning never before demonstrated. We do not consider here the problem of how and why these words passed into mediaeval Spanish. It suffices to know that in the work under study the words appear with the meaning or meanings they already have in the Latin Bible.
