Resumen de El modelo neerlandés de terapia breve: preliminares a una investigación

La terapia breve se perfila como una respuesta eficiente para los trastornos mentales leves y moderados de mayor incidencia, entre los cuales se encuentran los trastornos adaptativos y los �neuróticos�. El modelo neerlandés de Rindjers caracterizado por el planteamiento de hipótesis globales, sencillas y prácticas que buscan el posicionamiento activo tanto del terapeuta como del paciente ofrece una respuesta en un corto periodo de tiempo a gran parte de las patologías menos graves. Terapeutas de seis centros de Salud Mental de Asturias estamos trabajando en la actualidad en una investigación encaminada a probar la efectividad de este modelo de terapia breve. En el presente trabajo se ofrece una aproximación teórica a dicha investigación.

The brief therapy is outlined as an efficient response for the mental light and moderate disorders of major incidence, between which the adaptative disorders and the neurotic ones coexist. The Dutch model of Rindjers characterized by the exposition of global, simple and practical hypotheses that look for the active position both of the therapist and of the patient offers a response in a short period of time to big part of the least serious pathologies. Therapists of six Centers of Mental Health of Asturias we are employed at present at an investigation directed to proving the effectiveness of this model of brief therapy. In the present work a theoretical approach offers to the above mentioned investigation.
