Resumen de Lancelot comme toile de fond d'Alphonse X?
This contribution tries to offer a new interpretation on the poem Vi un coteife de mui gran granhon written by Alfonso X. Specialized critics have given to the text one single interpreting key : the condition of cart driver of the main character had been censored by the troubadour. Nevertheless, a different hypothesis is proposed in this study: the presence of the substantive carreta in the refrain of the cantiga is due to the literary technique of the allusion. In this case, the Castilian king would have appealed to one of the most popular episodes of Lancelot by Chrétien de Troyes and his adaptors in order to vituperate against one of those villainous knights participating in the war campaigns of Andalusia.
