  ¿Por qué pensamos que los alemanes no tienen sentido del humor? ¿Quiénes se despiden sin decir adiós, los ingleses o los franceses�? El objetivo de esta comunicación es reflexionar sobre los estereotipos lexicalizados de nacionalidades que aparecen en el DRAE ya que, al estar organizados como �gestalts� -esto es, como tipos naturales de experiencia-, conforman patrones estructurados recurrentes que, de forma consciente o inconsciente, guían nuestras acciones cotidianas. Su estudio resulta, pues, imprescindible para poder afrontar con éxito cuestiones de multiculturalidad e interculturalidad en las clases de E/LE.

  Why do the Spanish think that Germans don�t have humor? Who are the ones who leave without saying goodbye: the English or the French? The aim of this paper is to study lexicalizations of nationality compiled in the DRAE (Diccionario de la Real Academía Española). The importance of such lexicalizations is due to the fact that they are organized as �gestalts� which become recurrent and, therefore, consciously or unconsciously, they configure to everyday actions. Their study is necessary to cope with questions related to multicultury and interculturality in the classes of E/LE.
