    Miguel Rodríguez describe las luchas de los tranviarios de la ciudad de México durante los años veinte. Estudia el desarrollo de las diversas huelgas en los periodos presidenciales de Carranza, Obregón y Calles, así como la inserción del sindicalismo tranviario en el movimiento obrero mexicano. Analiza la relación del Estado con las agrupaciones de trabajadores, las divergencias entre la CGT y la CROM, y la manera en que, finalmente, los tranviarios se incorporan a esta última, que era una organización obrera gobiernista.

    Miguel Rodríguez describes the struggles the tram operators held in Mexico City during the twenties. He studies the different strikes in the governments of Carranza, Obregón and Calles, as well as the inclusion of the tram operators union to the Mexican labor movement. Analyzes the relationship of the State with the laborers groups, the differences between the CGT and the CROM, and the way finally the tram operators were included to the CROM, which was a government labor organization.
