This work aims to validate the structure of Contemporary Social Beliefs Scale (CSB) to explore postmodernism measures in the Chilean context. The sample consisted of 304 university students in the city of Antofagasta which responded the CSB and SDO, RWA, Patriotism and Nationalism scales. The results show good levels of reliability and validity of the instrument and meaningful weak relationships with all scales incorporated. The analysis approach we suggest that the variable career studying is the only one that presented significant differences, which speaks to us in respect of this kind of belief can not be identified in the subjects using the traditional distinctions. Finally, it tested the 3 dimensions model posed by the authors through a confirmatory factor analysis, which confirmed its adequacy and use.
