Pedro Castro resalta la actuación de Adolfo de la Huerta en el movimiento de Agua Prieta, el cual culminó con la caída de Venustiano Carranza y con la ascensión al poder del grupo sonorense. Aborda las pugnas sostenidas entre Álvaro Obregón y Carranza para quien el primero representaba un peligro. El autor analiza las presiones del ejecutivo sobre los seguidores de Obregón. Concluye que dichas acciones lo aislaron y debilitaron hasta el punto de perder el poder.

Pedro Castro points out the presence of Adolfo de la Huerta in the movement of Agua Prieta, which ended with the fall of Venustiano Carranza and the ascent to power of the group from Sonora. He talks about the fights between Álvaro Obregón and Carranza for whom the first one represented a risk. The author analyzes the pressures of the executive over Obregon's followers. He concludes that these actions isolated and debilitated him until he almost lost power.
