    El presente artículo pretende ofrecer una aproximación a las características del atuendo español a partir del estudio de las prendas y tejidos que se citan en los protocolos notariales expedidos en Murcia en los últimos quince años del siglo XVIII. Se ha recurrido para ello a las relaciones de bienes que se incluyen en las cartas de dote, testamentos e inventarios y particiones post mortem. A través de la documentación se analizan los rasgos definitorios de la indumentaria española en esta centuria problemática de sucesión de modas e interconexión de influencias con otras cortes europeas en el vestir.

    The following article pretends to offer an approach to the main features of Spanish costume beginning from the study of clothes and materials that are summoned in the notarial protocols issued in the last fifteen years of the XVIIIth century in Murcia. For this purpose, we have referred to the records of properties included in dowry letters, wills, inventories and postmortem partitions. So, through these documents, we analyse the defining features of Spanish costume in this problematic period, full of changing fashions and interconnections between the influences from other European courts, as far as clothing was concerned.
