Aborda la figura de don Juan de Alarcón, protagonista de la leyenda Margarita la tornera, desde una perspectiva psicoanalítica y, a partir de aquí, asocia su conducta a ciertas pautas de transgresión moral que tienen que ver, fundamentalmente, con el sexo y la religión. Por otra parte, explora los vínculos que unen el texto de Zorrilla con algunos pasajes bíblicos del Génesis y del Apocalipsis, sugiriendo también conexiones de intertextualidad con autores como el Marqués de Sade o Léopold Sacher-Masoch.

This issue tackles, from a psychoanalytic point of view, the figure of don Juan de Alarcón, the main character in the story Margarita la tornera, and, working on that principle, it connects his behaviour with some standards of moral transgression basically related to sex and religion. On the other hand, the issue studies the links between Zorrilla’s text and some biblical passages taken from the Genesis and the Apocalypse, and suggests intertextual connections with other authors like the Marquis of Sade or Léopold Sacher-Masoch.
