During the XVI-XIX centuries, the knowledge of Syriac Aramaic -a language relegated to the liturgy inside the Maronite community at Aleppo- was reserved to priests and some scholars. In fact, the Maronite Library of this city contains more of 1640 copies, but only conserves 134 Syriac manuscripts. In this pages I presente the grammatical works belonging to this collection and related to the study of this language.
