Andrés Deleito (de Leito) es artista relacionado en esencia con la pintura de naturalezas muertas y con la "vanitas". La incorporación al catálogo de su obra de diversas creaciones de temática religiosa, entre ellas una "Anunciación" firmada, mueve a redefinir su perfil artístico en la escuela madrileña de la segunda mitad del siglo XVII. La revisión de su obra pictórica, con el análisis de sus recursos compositivos y estilísticos, lleva también a atribuirle algunos nuevos bodegones así como una "Vanitas" tenida hasta ahora por obra de Antonio de Pereda.

Andres Deleito (de Leito) is, in essence, an artist linked with the Still-life and the "Vanitas". The addition of several religious-themed paintings into his Work catalogue, among them one signed painting representing the "Annunciation", leads to redefine his artistic profile within the School of Madrid in the second half of the Seventeenth Century. The review of his Work and the analysis of his stylistic and compositional resources, leads also to the allocation of further still-life creations and one "Vanitas", regarded as a painting by Antonio de Pereda.
