Resumen de Imagen social de los mayores en estudiantes jóvenes universitarios

Los objetivos ftieron evaluar la imagen social que tienen los estudiantes jóvenes de las personas mayores y verificar la naturaleza multidimensional de dicha imagen. En el estudio participaron 84 estudiantes de ambos sexos, de primer año, de fa Diplomatura de Educación Social, a quienes se les aplicaron, antes y después de la intervención educativa, dos cuestionarios: uno abierto y otro cerrado, el IAM; evaluando las actitudes de manera global y en sus tres dimensiones. Los resultados revelan que la imagen social que los jóvenes tienen es positiva para los mayores, lanto en el cuestionario abierto como en el cerrado, y se encontraron diferencias significativas en las dimensiones físicas, social/ personal y cognitiva que se median en el IAM.

The aims were to evaluate the social image that you/they have the young students of the grown-ups and to verify the nature multidimensional of the image. In the study 84 students of both sexes participated, of first year, of the Diplomatura of Social Education, to those who were applied before and after the educational intervention, two questionnaires; one open and one closed the IAM that evaluated the altitudes in a global way and in their three dimensions. The results reveal that the social image that the youths have is positive for the adults, so much in the open questionnaire as in the closed one, and they were significant differences in the dimensions physics, social/personal and cognitiva that are mediated in the IAM.
