• If stories are more than incidental to mathematics, and so science, then these discourses are as fictional, or not, as others. Seeing how this model of mathematics developed can found a history of mathematics, and of science, that is not another excursion into their relativity, but admits that truth itself has degrees- which the old rhetoric knew.
